An idyllic Arneis, made of the substance of dreams. A passito that stimulates the memory, that tastes of fresh bouquets and days to celebrate. Fermented in steel and aged in barriques or ceramic amphorae for 4 years, it is then left to rest in the bottle for at least 15 years. The color is amber, the bouquet is complex and fine, with floral notes, apricot and passion fruit, vanilla and chestnut honey. The taste is sweet and smooth. To be combined with dry pastries, medium-aged and blue cheeses, to be jealously guarded for when other occasions to celebrate arrive. Or to use as a secret ingredient for your cocktails.
Castellinaldo d'Alba, deep in Roero. Under the wise guidance of the progenitor Sergio Marchisio, his sons Fabio and Ivo work side by side in the vineyard and in the cellar, and Elena, Marisa and Francesco where wine happens and where everything else moves. Marchisio cultivates about twenty hectares of Guyot trained, mostly of Arneis, to which are added Barbera and Nebbioli, all organically and biodynamic. The hilly soils are exposed to the south-east and are mainly made up of calcareous marl and sandy soil of alluvial origin.
