New Aperitif Obsession: Sorì Spritz!

With the opening of Braja to the public, many new features have also arrived. The Sorì Spritz made its first appearance at our Grand Opening and we haven't abandoned it since!

Together with the Artichokes of the Sorì SLOW FOOD Presidium, Stefano (aka Duipuvrun) also brought us the Sorì : an artichoke liqueur produced in collaboration with Chinati Vergano. A very delicate extract by maceration that immediately made me want to create a Spritz my way.

Do you want not to add a bubble to it? You will say... Bubbles and artichoke? Lifetime! Yes, but not just any artichoke or bubble!

Almost at the same time a new producer of our Roero arrived from Braja, Marchisio, who won me over with his " Faiv " Brut Blanc de Blanc Classic Method 100% Arneis. A bubbly made with a native Piedmontese variety was just what I've been looking for for a long time and this one, after 11 years on the lees, you can only imagine.... Or come and try it here at Braja's!

Sorì Spritz

  • 1/4 Sorì
  • 3/4 Faiv Brut Blanc de Blanc
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 slice of lemon
  • plenty of ice

To prepare the Sorì Spritz , start by pouring the ice into a wine glass, then add the "Faiv" and then the Sorì. Finally, add a slice of lemon and a sprig of rosemary after rubbing it around the mouth of the glass.
